Westworld vs. Jurassic Park: when playing god is clearly a bad idea.
Westworld vs. Jurassic Park: when playing god is clearly a bad idea.
Michael Crichton's legacy is larger than I ever thought. Westworld started a bit slow but it seems that comes from the storyline which, alike Game of Thrones, was carefully put together so as to take a central role itself. For this it first must unroll and gain some speed. Just like science, the further one digs the more one wonders.
Edit: As I later added in the comments I feel I must mention that, in my case, it is the scripts of American TV series which got me back into reading work of fiction, the latest of which is "The Futurological Congress" by Stanislaw Lem. The only thing which can reliably keep me in front of a piece of fiction on TV is its story.
